Cocktail party to celebrate 80 years of business for Zarin Fabrics. The Zarin Family, including Jill Zarin, Bobby Zarin and current owner, David Zarin, celebrated with distinguished friends, family and guests at their Lower East Side storefront. Former cast mates from Bravo’s Real Housewives of New York City came to support their friend, such as; Kelly Bensimon and Luann de Lesseps as well as TV personality Philip Bloch, Shane Duffy and personal family friend, Dina Lohan.
The event was held at the Zarin Fabrics storefront located at 69 Orchard St. in New York’s Lower East Side. Guests enjoyed cocktails sponsored by Blue Ice Vodka. Selfie Cookie provided sweet treats donning the Zarin Fabrics 80th Anniversary logo for guests to enjoy.
Models roamed around the party wearing couture designs from Project Runway Alumni, Fabio Costa. The looks were created soley from Zarin Fabrics’ own fabric, housed in the very venue the party took place. The models hair and make up was provided courtesy of Pierre Michel Salon and Winky Lux.
A double decker tour bus donated by VECTOR Media was parked outside the venue – wrapped in Zarin signage. This tour bus will be traveling around NYC all month long, in honor of Zarin Fabrics anniversary. Jill and Bobby plan on making appearances on it throughout the month.
Officials from the Mayor, Governor and Borough President’s office showed up to pay homage to the iconic NYC Institution. Speaking to the perseverance and growth that the business has gone through, and the pivotal part they play in NYC’s business climate. The presentations ended with a proclamation from the Borough President’s office – naming October 6th Zarin Fabrics Appreciation Day.
