As much as I love fashion, I am first a mom. And in that craze moms usually are, specially in the mornings,  my styling advice will always gear you towards:

  1. Affordable luxury (investment pieces)
  2. EASY style
  3. Benefit, of course.

Like a great handbag, investing on a fabulous pair of sunglasses can really add interest and flair to your look.

So if you are wearing something simple or didn’t have time to properly tame your tresses one morning…wearing sunglasses can really help carry the focus of your finished look.

Most importantly, wearing sunglasses is actually beneficial:

1. Protect Yourself From UV Rays.

According to health care professionals, there is a link between the exposure to UV rays from sunlight and the development of cataracts and age-related macular degeneration (AMD) A pair of quality sunglasses can protect your eyes by blocking 75-100 percent of the sun’s harmful UV rays. They have the ability to also protect the skin around the eyes from UV rays that cause wrinkles and premature aging.

2. Help With Glares.

All surfaces reflect light and some can also be very distracting. Reflective glare is particularly dangerous when driving. Sunglasses can be effective at reducing glare from surface reflections.

3. Protect your eyes from Debris.

Shades can serve as a barrier against wind, sun and debris. When you wear them, you are potentially preventing your eyes from flying or blowing debris. In choosing a pair of shades, consider close-fitting sunglasses.

4. Eliminate Headaches & Eyestrain.

Your eyes can work tremendously harder than they should in very bright conditions. In very bright conditions, the pupil cannot constrict small enough to reduce light to a comfortable level resulting in squinting. Wearing sunglasses, you can help reduce the amount of light that is there and provide a more comfortable level of light to reach the eyes.

So you see Chicas, sunglasses not only protect your well being, but they enhance your look too.

Another great advantage? You will give your skin and eyes a makeup break when  you wear your shades.
