Exceeding already high expectations, the event raised a staggering amount of more than $1.8 millions for the programs of The Jewish Board, one of the city’s largest nonprofits; serving over 45,000 New Yorkers of a myriad of faiths, ethnicities and socioeconomic backgrounds each year.

I am in awe of the generosity that was shown to our organization at this year’s benefit,” said David Rivel, Chief Executive Officer at The Jewish Board. “The support shown by our fabulous honorees and trustees allows us to continue to provide excellent care and programming across the five boroughs. We would like to especially thank David Moore and his family, for helping to strengthen our services to the Riverdale community.”

This year, in addition to the funds raised at the event, honoree David Moore, Chairman & CEO of Moore Holdings, made an especially generous donation. The contribution will go into The Jewish Board’s mental health clinic specialized in sensitive outpatient mental health and psychiatric services for children, adults, and families with a wide array of emotional and social needs. In recognition of the gift, the clinic will be renamed the “David and Lori Moore Family” Counseling Center.
