Summer 2014 Vacay Essentials: Pack Like a Pro!

| May 20, 2014 | Reply

It’s about that time of year to get your “weekender” bag ready with some fun adventures in site! Whether you are headed to the Hamptons, hitting the shore, going on a business trip or jet setting to an island NO ONE likes to lug around an over stuffed suitcase. More recently, I was that girl holding up the airplane line trying to shove my carry on in the over head compartment (and it clearly wasn’t fitting).  It’s basically all about staying calm and being prepared ahead of time. First think: how long will I actually be there, what pieces do I have that are transitional from day to night,  what evening events are happening?  I know this sounds totally corny like BUT it really will help… make a list! Write down everything you need so you don’t forget a thing and you can easily navigate through your closet. I always roll my clothes when packing because it eliminates wrinkles and creates a lot more space in the bag. Here are my top accessory packing priorities for spring/summer2014:

2. Nude transitional ballet flats by Delman, Nordstrom.com

3.  Minimal style open cuff bangle by Freida Rothman, FreidaRothman.com

5. Beaded floral fabric headband. TopShop.com

Have fun on your next trip, hope these tips help not to over-stuff your suitcase! Tweet me your summer vacay plans @BlazersBellinis
