What is the best thing about living in NYC?
Although not technically a NYC resident (a quick few train stops away), I’d say that the best thing about NYC is the accessibility to everything – from restaurant options to comedy clubs, museums, you name it. The people also; they’re much nicer and more helpful than some of the myths suggest.

Favorite NYC restaurant?
That’s an ever-evolving list, with plenty on it, but my latest addition to it is I SODI. They pride themselves on their olive oil, so you know they’re SERIOUS. Also, Le Bernardin deserves a top-of-list mention.

Favorite neighborhood?
All of them, they all have something unique and amazing to offer. I know that sounds like a generic way to avoid playing favorites, but seriously, they all do.

The best part of my job is…
the emotion that tends to come with private events. I get to celebrate with my clients, and their friends and families, on the most important days of their lives. I don’t take that lightly. Many of my clients have been anticipating and dreaming about their celebrations for years, if not decades. Tears of joy, uncontrollable laughter, making every guest feel something; that emotion-elicitation is what I pride myself on, and see as the best part of my job.

A visit to New York isn’t complete until…
you purchase a copy of BELLA Magazine in a NYC newsstand.

Subways or cabs?
I actually walk. Nothing beats a nice walk.

Best advice you’ve ever received?
Patience and persistence. There’s been many variations over the years, from various people, but it was there as a child, carried into adulthood and business ownership, and reminders of “patience and persistence” are always prevalent.

One grooming essential is…
hand moisturizer. If you’re not taking care of your hands, start immediately gentlemen.

Suit or tux?
As much as I appreciate the tradition and classical elegance of a tuxedo, I feel that a nice, well-tailored suit has more versatility. I think a suit gives you more options for accessorizing and personalization.
