Maserati of Manhattan hosted the U.S. soft launch of Gnossem, the fashion online retailer of independent designers of Asia with Timo Weiland

The luxury e-tailer Gnossem, made its debut to the U.S. market at the Maserati of Manhattan uptown showroom to much fanfare.  Not the first of many fashion collaborations, Maserati of Manhattan partnered with the digital fashion retailer on Saturday evening with a presentation and a luxury cocktail reception. Gnossem showcased 20 of its 170 Independent Labels Saturday Night with highlights including ZENCHI from Singapore (Naomi Campbell walked for ZENCHI at Singapore’s Digital Fashion Week last October), TOTON from Indonesia (One of South East Asia’s most acclaimed Independent Designers), Zardoze from Singapore (Creative Director, John Paul Rangel use to design for Alexander Wang, Narcisco Rodriguez and Marc by Marc Jacobs in New York), niin from Bali (a wood and shell accessories label, that produces one-of-a-kind clutches and bangles), Marilyn Tan from Singapore (The nation’s celebrated top accessories designer- everything she crafts herself), and Jose Duran (Dominican), Alix of Bohemia (London), and LARUICCI (New York).

As one of Maserati of Manhattan’s latest collaborations, it was a natural next step for the brand to partner with Gnossem. From their consistent integration of luxury cars and fashion, including the New York Fashion week pairing with highly revered brand EN NOIR, Maserati of Manhattan continues to add high end labels to their roster of activations.

The event was attended by over 600 guests with cocktails and beverages provided by Birthday Cake Wines, Zico Coconut Water, Illy , and Harlem Blue beer in addition to delicious desserts sponsored by Besfren. Gnossem’s founder, Lisa Crosswhite, narrated the interactive fashion show, giving the guests (which included various members of the press, tastemakers and socialites) ,insight into each of the looks presented.

The showroom was generously adorned with works of art and photography by the renowned artist Morgan Miller in addition to the event set design by Couture Concepts. The three hour reception was Dj’ed by the famous designer and socialite Timo Weiland as guests were introduced to the newest e-tailer.

Gnossem is now open for free international shipping to the US, with a subsidized fast express option. Gnossem launched in April 2012 in Singapore, and has won top online store awards by Singapore’s Harper’s BAZAAR and Cosmopolitan, not to mention has become a fashion industry star, covered 70+ times in 1.5 years by top fashion press
