Raab to celebrate the publication of Summer in the City: John Lindsay, New York, and the American Dream edited by Joseph P. Viteritti, Thomas Hunter Professor of Public Policy and chair of the Urban Affairs and Planning Department at Hunter College on Thursday, March 20 at the Roosevelt House Public Policy Institute at Hunter College in New York.

The conference reassessed Lindsay’s policies as mayor from 1966 to 1973 and took a look at the lessons of those tumultuous years for the new mayoral administration.

Former Mayor David Dinkins; Margi Picotte, Mayor Lindsay’s daughter; and Mimi Picotte, Mayor Lindsay’s granddaughter, were also on hand for the evening. A pair of panel discussions was moderated by New York Times columnist Sam Roberts and NY1 “Inside City Hall” host Errol Louis, respectively.
