First, let me start with the amazing Robin McGraw, who is gracing the cover of our annual Hamptons issue. I was fortunate enough to spend some time with Robin in her stunning Beverly Hills home when I was in LA in May. During our interview I honestly felt moved by the experience. You would assume someone of her stature would be a bit closed off to a journalist, but she had me at “Hello.”
A self-professed “Dr. Phil Show” fan, I have watched Robin time and again display grace, composure, and strength as she has listened, spoken to, and given back to the millions of viewers who look to her as a role model. Robin thought it was funny I called her a role model, as she is just as humble as can be. She genuinely cares about helping people get back the beauty in their lives, which we agreed was synergistic with BELLA’s message. As you read her interview, I know you will be as awestruck with her as I was. She’s truly a woman on a mission who has her priorities in life straight: God, family, and giving back. Although she may not personally feel like a “role model,” she is someone I look up to and aspire to be more like.
