If you’re a foodie who loves dessert, you’ll want to make a trip to the Red Hook section of Brooklyn to visit BAKED. As chic as it is delectable, BAKED has become a sweet tooth haven thanks to the “Gentleman Bakers” – former ad execs Matt Lewis and Renato Poliafito – who’ve designed a hip atmosphere that’s become a must-visit destination for both locals and area travelers, including Hollywood A-listers Zooey Deschannel, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Padma Lakshmi and Michelle Williams.
BAKED also boasts a line of granola, cake mixes, bakeware, and three cookbooks,
“Baked: New Frontiers In Baking,” “Baked: Explorations” and “Baked: Elements” that you’ll want to get your dessert-lovin’ hands on. But beware … don’t read them when you’re hungry!
