I Am So Excited for an Incredible 2015!
It’s so great to be in a fabulous new year, beginning our 5th one at BELLA! Although 2014 was amazing, we definitely have worked hard to make this New Year even more spectacular than last. To start, I decided to change things up in a big way, and make our January/February issue something new and really fun – our Hollywood Issue. What better way to start off the New Year than with the most glam and celebrity-filled issue on the newsstands!?
I know many of you look to celebs for fashion and beauty inspiration
(I certainly do), and with that in mind, the BELLA team has put together an amazing array of fashion spreads, exclusive celebrity interviews, and feature articles that take that inspiration and make it real for us everyday girls. You don’t have to live in Hollywood to have that A-list celeb glow – you just have to read this amazing issue.
As my entire staff knows, I love the west coast and find a lot of inspiration in their laid back approach and sun-filled lifestyle. It’s definitely a draw during the cold winter months in the northeast and although my heart will always be one of a New Yorker, I must say this issue definitely has me feeling the LA love.
I hope you enjoy this issue as much as we did putting it together. It’s always fun, but this was a little extra special and I can’t wait to hear your thoughts!
SOME OF MY PERSONAL FAVORITES THAT YOU’LL FIND INSIDE:
- My interview with fashion designer, Carmen Marc Valvo. To sit with someone so successful yet so humble was an amazing experience, and I am thrilled to share his story with you.
- BELLA on DEMAND: Great name, but no relation to the magazine, is an app for your phone that can get a personal glam squad to your NYC- based home or office within an hour to get you red carpet ready. How fab is that?! No more running to the salon to get your hair and makeup done – they come to you!
- And, of course, our stunning and talented cover feature Olivia Munn. BELLA Celebrity Feature Editor Alexandra Anastasio and Celebrity Photographer John Russo have put together something pretty spectacular on pages 94-99.
