Current (Travel) Obsession: Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa

Aerial Shot, Borgata

I’m still recovering from the most amazing weekend whisk-away in Atlantic City, NJ at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. There may or may not have been a Justin Bieber sighting at the casino when I was there,  and he may or may not have taken off his shirt at a Black Jack Table… I was too busy eating up a storm at Bobby Flay Steak!

Borgata is my ultimate go-to– my absolute favorite place to go in Atlantic City, in fact the only place I will go to in Atlantic City and now they raised the stakes even more with some seriously hot new additions.

Borgata Outdoor Pool 2016

Borgata Outdoor Pool operates exclusively for Borgata and The Water Club hotel guests 21 years and older.  Over 300 chaise lounges, daybeds, and cabanas surround the 3,200-square-foot Roman-style pool. It’s the ultimate outdoor jackpot: The new pool  has cool,  sexy, Vegas vibe, the service is top-notch. I kicked back in a cool cabana sipping on cocktails all day—beyond impressed. I could have stayed there all day. Oh wait, I did… and I can’t wait to come back!

Borgata Beer Garden 2016

Borgata Beer Garden is located right next to the pool and it features a full-service canopied bar serving more than 15 domestic and craft beers along with mouth-watering bar snacks and bites.  An entertainment stage showcases live bands Friday – Sunday, while guests enjoy a variety of lawn games, fire pits, and more.

The Marketplace Eatery is a casual dining experience located below Borgata’s Poker Room and The Racebook that offers an array of quick-service fare to satisfy any craving that may arise. The Marketplace offers an inviting atmosphere where guests are encouraged to taste and experience an abundance of fine cheeses, charcuterie, olive oil, and LaVazza Coffee from the coffee bar. A dedicated retail specialist is available to guide customers through the store and assist in selecting items for customized gift baskets, while an ambient wine bar allows you to dine in and enjoy a collection of vintages from around the world accompanied by one of many tasting plates. Local Chef Joe Muldoon oversees the culinary operations, offering interactive tasting classes, and elegant wine dinners, showcasing everything The Marketplace has to offer. The wine and cheese was simply divine!

Lastly, I danced the night away at the $14 million Premier Nightclub. Premier has ignited a rebirth of nightlife entertainment in Atlantic City, introducing some of the world’s most sought after deejays to the resort. It just opened a couple of months ago and the party was not certainly poppin’. Yes, I just said that but he says it better:

“Nearly 13 years after first presenting signature bottle service, high-caliber entertainment, and world-renowned deejays to the region, Borgata continues to redefine Atlantic City nightlife with the debut of Premier Nightclub,” said Joe Lupo, Senior Vice President of Operations for Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. “Designed to rival the top clubs in Las Vegas, Miami, and New York, Premier will elevate Borgata’s unique brand of nightlife by welcoming guests into a transformative party experience where clubbing is theatre.”

Premier Nightclub at Borgata will host parties every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday evening. Guests interested in reserving table service may call 609.317.7249.
