Big Smoke Burger

Now and again many a New Yorker craves a juicy and delicious burger. Recently, Bella NYC had the opportunity to visit Big Smoke Burger the newest restaurant on the block. We heard the buzz and read positive reviews, but of course at Bella NYC we like to investigate the city first hand and share our experiences with you.

As we walked into Big Smoke Burger located at 70 7th Avenue in New York City (Conveniently located between (or by) the 14th street path, the 14th street stops on the 1/2/3, and a block from F/M 14th street stop) we noticed something immediately. This burger establishment actually has a bar — pretty inviting. The layout of the restaurant is open and airy (another plus). The space is city sleek with clean lines, exposed brick and a welcoming vibe. Big Smoke Burgers are handcrafted burgers made fresh daily using top quality ingredients. They pride themselves on serving only Ontario AAA beef. Their ground chuck is made to their specifications and it is always fresh, never frozen.

The menu selections are pretty impressive; they have the tasty traditional favorites — cheese burger with smoked Canadian cheddar and also some new favorites that will peak your interests and appetite such as the Red Burger; gorgonzola, roasted red peppers, rosemary garlic mayo & lettuce. Bella NYC hears that the Green Burger; goat cheese, roasted red peppers, cilantro-feta spread & lettuce is phenomenal. Perhaps, we will try that next!

Of course, no burger meal is complete without some crispy and salty accompaniments. BSB’s fresh cut fries, homemade onion rings (with an amazing sauce) and Poutine fries; real Ontario cheese curds & gravy are so delicious.
