My friends and family have called me a thoroughbred shopper. I’m always shopping & almost never pay full price for anything in my closet. Hence my love for Sample Sales. But Sample Sales are tricky and you have to have a plan.
Since I will be sharing with you new samples sales happening around NYC, here are some tips:
- Arrive early if you want to have the best style and size selection.
- Bring cash and credit cards, methods of payments vary from store to store.
- Wear clothing and shoes that are easy for you to slip in and out of. Try wearing a tank top and leggings too, it’s easier to slip on items over this.
- Some of the sale locations do not have dressing rooms or they may close the dressing rooms during the sale, so be ready to try-on things in the aisles.
- Prices and selection can vary during the sale duration.
- Don’t buy it just because it’s 80% off! Make sure it’s relevant to your style and it fits!
- Bring a small purse. They will most likely ask you to check your bag if it’s too large. I suggest a small crossbody or just a wallet.
