Gwen Stefani attends the opening of the Renaissance Downtown Hotel, Dubai for Marriott Rewards & SPG Members at Renaissance Downtown Hotel, Dubai

Gwen Stefani performed a private concert for Marriott Rewards and Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) members, at the grand opening of the Renaissance Downtown Hotel in Dubai.

The Voice star said that she never expected in a million years to be there and that she loved the city – a melting pot of all the cultures and that it really felt like “one love.”

On the topic of love, she then sung “Make Me Like You” and gave a shout out to her beau Blake Shelton.

Her setlist was a mix of new hits and fan favorites, including: “Wind It Up,” “Underneath It All,” “Holla Back” and “It’s My Life”.

Before her performance, the global super star wore GUCCI on the red carpet and to meet members, fans and hotel guests.

The concert is part of Marriott International’s global concert series with Universal Music Group, which in the past has included performances by Imagine Dragons, Ellie Goulding and others.

Members gained entry to the concert exclusively through Marriott Rewards Moments and SPG Moments, the loyalty platforms where members redeem points for money-can’t-buy experiences.

As part of Marriott’s ultimate fan experience, one member and their guest were treated like stars, getting their hair and make-up done by a professional “glam-squad,” along with a VIP meet-and-greet with Gwen, who even gave them a shout out during her performance!

Behind the scenes, Gwen Stefani and Renaissance Guest Navigator Arva Ahmed enjoyed a tea ritual at BHAR, one of Renaissance Downtown Hotel Dubai’s restaurants.

In Dubai for only 48 hours, Gwen Stefani got out to explore the city despite her busy schedule. Coming from London, she said she was thrilled to relax in the new hotel… but was inspired when she met Cleatus George, the hotel’s amazing Navigator, who created an experience that took Gwen off-script.

They stopped by a perfumery called Villa 515 and then headed into the desert for dinner, falconry and more.
