PicKNICK on St. Cloud, located on the corner of 42nd Street and Broadway overlooking both Times Square and Bryant Park, transports guests to a stylish summer soiree—at once reminiscent of wistful backyard days and innovative alfresco celebrations. Peppered with nostalgic flavors while appealing to the contemporary palate, Chef Charlie Palmer and Executive Chef Christopher Engel have developed three different picnic baskets for guests to enjoy this summer: The American, The French, and The Mediterranean.

The dishes in The American basket are modern twists on traditional summertime favorites and include petite ham and Swiss cheese sandwiches with dijon, classic deviled eggs, “Ants on a Log” served two ways and fresh cherries. The French basket captures the effortless sophistication of vacationing in the French countryside and includes iconic bites like Solex Sturgeon caviar, a Rougie foie gras pate, Champagne grapes, and fresh Camembert cheese with Acacia honey. And finally, The Mediterranean conjures images of picnicking along a rocky azure coastline with dishes such as house-made pita, marinated feta, salami, Taggiasca olives, taramasalata, Marcona almonds and quicos de chocolate—a chocolate-covered corn. The prices for the picnic baskets range from $100 to $250 and serve 2-4 people.

To complete each PicKNICK experience, a half-bottle of Ruinart Champagne is available for purchase. All baskets are served tableside and are available throughout the entire rooftop during operating hours on a first come, first serve basis.

In addition to the picnic baskets, you can enjoy small bites from the summer rooftop menu, with highlights that include Maine Lobster Rolls with burrata and cherry tomato confit; refreshing Piña Colada and Margarita Popsicles; and inventive cocktails such as the Brazilian Orchard with Avua Silver Cachaca, green apple and cucumber.

St. Cloud Social opens at 4:00 p.m. daily and at noon on Fridays through Labor Day. For more information, visit http://theknickerbocker.com/
