Renowned Bistro Welcomes the Season with a New Outdoor Café and Expanded Offerings
Perennial New York City favorite, Artisanal Fromagerie and Bistro, is kicking off the summer with exciting changes implemented by the new owner, restaurateur Sarid Drory, former proprietor of NYC legends Waverly Inn and Cub Room. From Artisanal’s inception, they have always delighted the senses and focused on warm hospitality which Sarid Drory will maintain while enhancing the Artisanal experience with the evolution of the brand.
The reimagined menu incorporates the best and freshest seasonal produce, meat, seafood and, of course, European cheeses. From the Time Out 2015 award winning Signature Blend Mac & Cheese and Grilled Cheese to the show stopping 32oz Waygu Tomahawk Rib Eye with Bone Marrow Butter there is something to please even the most discerning palates. With the emphasis on the brightest ingredients there is now Daily Crudo Selections with Seasonal Preparations and Chef’s Selections of East & West Coast Oysters with Caviar. There are multiple specials offered daily and all bread is now baked in-house, with fresh bread right from the oven delivered to all guests. The Fromagerie also received an upgrade to now showcase more than 200 cheeses from across Europe. A private Chef’s Tasting is available in the Cheese Cave for parties of two to eight guests.
Artisanal welcomes guests to indulge and imbibe with an expanded happy hour including a glass of Dom Perignon paired with Caviar Toast and Three Truffle Cheese Selections. Artisanal offers one of the most extensive and intelligent beverage collections to rival the best in the world. The wine list has grown to over 600 bottles and 140 varieties are available by the glass. The champagne collection has expanded to include some of the most sought after bottles such as the Cuvee Dom Perignon P3, 1971. Under Drory’s direction Artisanal has amassed a huge selection of whiskey, tequila, vodka and cognac. Artisanal presently has a whiskey selection comprised of over a 100 assortments with a focus on single malts. Additionally, there are over 80 varieties of tequila and 85 varieties of vodka.
The elegant ambiance of the new outdoor café, with custom-made tables and chairs flown in from Paris, lends itself to sipping on a French Mule, Five Points or any one of Artisanal’s 21 new signature cocktails. Artisanal uses only the finest ingredients for their cocktail program, and most are house-made, like the unique bitters, infused elixirs and liqueurs.
Artisanal Fromagerie and Bistro is located at Two Park Avenue and is open seven days a week and offers a Late-Night Menu until 2am. Brunch is served every weekend and is the perfect place to host your next corporate function or special occasion.
